The Contractors State License Board (CSLB) is currently recruiting for an Office Technician (typing) in the Enforcement Division’s Citation Enforcement Section.

This position is located in  NORWALK .

Under the general direction of the Supervising Special Investigator I (Non-Peace Officer) [SSI I], the Office Technician (Typing) [OT (T)] performs a variety of complex clerical/technical duties necessary to support the initiation, processing, and maintenance of non-licensee and licensee citation cases in the Citation Enforcement Section.

Special Requirements

  • The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.   • Pursuant to California Business and Professions Code 154.3, incumbents in this position will be required to submit fingerprints to the Department of Justice for criminal history background clearance and be cleared before hiring.

Incumbent must possess good oral and written communication skills, use good judgment in decision-making, exercise creativity and flexibility in problem identification and resolution, manage time and resources effectively, and be responsive to CSLB and the Department of Consumer Affairs management needs. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this job.
