We're looking for a skilled and seasoned professional who brings years of hands-on experience to the table. The role entails a wide range of basic to complex tasks, on purpose.

A day in the life of a Concrete Finisher at Daniels can look like: 

• Prepare and finish interior and exterior concrete reinforcing structures, including flatwork walls, docks, curbs, gutters, and light bases.
• Take on a variety of tasks such as job set-up, hard trowel machine finishing, exterior broom finishing, and decorative or stamped projects.
• Coordinate a small team of workers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Build and set concrete forms (foundations, slabs, etc.).
• Inspect surfaces for potential issues before pouring.
• Work with the concrete truck driver to direct the casting process.
• Apply sealing and hardening components to concrete.
• Problem-solve and make critical decisions on-site as needed.
• Transport materials to the job site and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards at all times.
• Read and follow detailed specification sheets.

What you need to qualify:

• Our ideal candidate will have at least 6+ years of  flat work concrete finishing experience.
• Must provide your own finishing hand tools (Ex: steel trowel, edgers, etc.)
  
• A valid drivers license to travel between the different job sites. An added plus for individuals with a CDL or ability to obtain it.
