Dock & Warehouse Manager Position Overview In this position, your chief responsibility as a Dock & Warehouse Manager will be overseeing position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas with temperatures ranging from 32-42
degrees.
Primary Responsibilities - Follow all GMP procedures.
- Follow all Food Safety, and Safety Policies, counseling, and disciplining employees. Plans, monitors, and appraises job results.
- Implements and enforces systems,policies, and SOPs.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
- Completes operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, maintaining reference manuals, and implementing new procedures.
- Controls expenses by creating a budget, gathering and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision.
- Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
- Oversees shipping and receiving of all products and materials.
- Oversees the status of inbound and outbound orders in the ERP system.
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company.
- Communicate with other internal departments and customers to ensure products are received and shipped in a timely manner.
- Manage the proper and accurate execution of important documents such as advanced shipping notices, pick slips, bills of lading, purchase orders, etc. shipment.
- Inspect labels, barcodes, and other features of completed orders as well.
- Report to management on activities and issues.
- Document best practices.

Qualifications - High School diploma/GED required.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- 5 yearsâ experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of various material handling equipment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to perform repetitive movements (i.e., bending, stooping, pushing). The associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to move about within a fast-paced environment in/outside the facility.
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs/ladder for repairs.
- Ability to frequently move, push, or carry items up to 40 lbs.
- Exposed to a cold environment of 32 to 42 degrees.
- Must be able to detect, identify, inspect, observe, and assess surroundings.
