Now Hiring: Regional Human Resources Representative
Region: Northern Iowa | Travel Required (Up to 50%) | Full-Time Non-Profit | Human Services | Clear Lake & Fort Dodge

As our Regional HR Representative, you won't just support employees-you'll empower a workforce that changes lives.
This is a strategic and hands-on HR role where you'll partner with regional leaders across Northern Iowa-the role will be based at our headquarters office in Clear Lake, and you will frequently travel to Fort Dodge, and occasionally to Waterloo. You'll provide expert guidance in employee relations, talent development, compliance, and performance management-all while helping us build a culture rooted in empathy, integrity, and inclusion. What You'll Do:
Advise leadership on workforce planning, structure, and talent strategy, employee relations: coaching, investigations, and conflict resolution Guide performance reviews, development plans, and succession strategies Oversee benefits and leave programs (FMLA, ADA, Workers' Comp, etc.)
Collaborate on recruiting efforts, inclusive hiring practices and interview planning Ensure HR compliance across federal, state, and local laws Manage policy rollouts, tech updates, and HR process improvements Analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decisions
What You Bring:
✔ Bachelor's in HR, Business, or equivalent education and experience
✔ 4+ years of progressive HR experience (multi-site or healthcare setting preferred)
✔ 2+ years in a HR generalist role
✔Prefer SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
✔ Deep understanding of employment law & compliance standards
✔ Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for people-first leadership
✔ Commitment to equity, inclusion, and service excellence
✔ Valid driver's license
