Contract HR Generalist
Location: Telford, PA (Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $43/hour
Type: Contract (Potential for permanent placement)

Our manufacturing client in Telford, PA is seeking a skilled and proactive HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team on a contract basis. This onsite role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration

  • Coordinate the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs including medical, dental, life, disability, HSA/FSA, and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

  • Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit vendors, assisting with inquiries, claims resolution, and benefit plan education.

  • Organize and support company-wide benefit initiatives such as open enrollment sessions, new hire orientations, and updates to retirement or benefit plans.

Leave & Compliance Management

  • Administer leave programs including FMLA, ADA, personal leaves of absence, and paid parental leave.

  • Oversee the administration of the company’s 401(k) plan and ensure compliance with related regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including annual labor law postings and internal HR audits (I-9, EEO-1, benefit enrollments, etc.).

HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and company programs, ensuring consistent interpretation and compliance.

  • Support the employee lifecycle by maintaining accurate employee records, processing staffing changes (hires, terminations, leaves), and updating job classifications and compensation data.

  • Assist with routine payroll processing in UKG (UltiPro) as needed.

Talent Acquisition & Projects

  • Assist in the recruitment process including job postings, screening, and interview coordination as needed.

  • Contribute to HR initiatives and special projects, including performance management, employee engagement, policy updates, and organizational development efforts.

Administrative & Other Duties

  • Ensure HR files and documentation are up to date and in full compliance with company standards and legal requirements.

  • Support HR leadership with data reporting, audits, and project support.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong understanding of benefits administration, employment law, and HR best practices

  • Proficient in HRIS systems; experience with UKG (UltiPro) strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in employee matters
