We are currently seeking a .Net Full-Stack Developer to work remotely within Canada.

Project Summary: 
The .Net Full-Stack Developer will support the Cloud Modernization of internal applications and associated services and databases. They will be responsible for designing and developing advanced insight reports using Microsoft Power BI and participating in the development of modern front-end components and features using ReactJS, built upon the existing Microsoft Azure Cloud Services environment. They will participate in the current-state assessment, research, planning, environment setup (development, testing, staging, production), and will be responsible for the development of application reports, SQL queries, and front-end components. 

Job Description: 
•    Participate in the assessment of the current front-end architecture. 
•    Participate in the creation of a plan for modernization of front-end to ReactJS. 
•    Design and develop advance insight Power BI reports using Microsoft Power BI, leveraging Microsoft Azure SQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). 
•    Develop SQL queries to extract, transform, and prepare data from Microsoft Azure SQL or SQL Managed Instance to support reporting and analytics requirements within the Power Platform environment. 
•    Participate in the development of a common look and feel across all internal applications, guided by the Safety Analysis application’s design principles. 
•    Participate in the development and implementation of a feature-based migration strategy for moving existing applications to the ReactJS framework. 
•    Participate in developing a shareable, reusable library of in-house components in ReactJS. 
•    Provide all the necessary knowledge transfer with the development team, including detailed guidance on environment setup (development, testing, stage and production), application configuration, and component usage. 

The Programmer/Software Developer will work with the following technologies and tools: 
•    Microsoft .Net 8 
•    Microsoft Azure Cloud Services (Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Application Insights) 
•    Microsoft Azure SQL and Microsoft Azure SQL Managed Instance  
•    ReactJS 
•    Microsoft Fluent UI 
•    Microsoft Power Platform tools 
•    Microsoft Azure DevOps Git 
•    Microsoft Azure DevOps Pipelines
•    Entity Framework Core 
•    REST API’s 

Basic Qualifications:
•    Must currently hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance.
•    Must be fluent in English – bilingual candidates are considered an asset.
•    Must have 5-10 years of experience working as a Programmer/Software Developer
•    Must have 2+ years of Backend Development experience as a software developer with .Net Core (.Net 8 or .Net 5 and above).
•    Must have 2+ years of Front-end Application Development experience with ReactJS using Fluent UI framework.
•    Must have 2+ years of Database Development experience with Microsoft Azure SQL or SQL Managed Instance.
•    Must have 2+ years of Report Development experience using Microsoft Power BI with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, Microsoft Dataverse.
•    Experience with interactive dashboards, reports, DAX, data modeling concepts, connecting to relational Azure SQL databases and writing SQL queries.
•    Must have a university degree or college/CEGEP Diploma related to computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution. If applicable, a copy of Canadian equivalency must be provided as well. A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided if requested.
